The Warriors' recent Championship success stems from their excellent draft picks, headlined by their two lottery gems, Stephen Curry (7th pick, 2009 Draft) and Klay Thompson (11th pick, 2011 Draft) and their most successful non-lottery pick, Draymond Green (35th pick, 2012 Draft). Excluding Udonis Haslem, Curry (14 years) and Thompson (12 years) are the longest-tenured players to their drafted team in the NBA. Green is in a three-way tie for third with Portland's Damian Lillard and Washington's Bradley Beal (10 years). Among active players, the trio of Curry, Thompson and Green have won the most Championships with their original team (4).

          QA - Warriors

Looney wasn’t the only member of the supporting cast who went next-level in Game 3. Moses Moody delivered the best postseason game of his short career, right when the Warriors needed it, too. He had 13 points in 16 minutes; his energy, fuel for the Warriors. Moody didn’t even play in Game 1 and had crumbs in Game 2. Draymond told Moody to “step up.” Evidently, Moody listened.

          1. “It’s been that way all season,” he said. “Coming in, you don’t know if you’ll get two minutes or 20 minutes. I’ve had a lot of practice at this.”
          2. The Warriors have spent the last few years grooming their young core to be contributors in moments like these, and the results have been mixed. Gary Payton II (who was injured and didn’t play Thursday) rose to that level last June in the NBA Finals, but Moody, Jonathan Kuminga and the now-departed James Wiseman were inconsistent. They were not on Thursday.
          3. Kerr said: “You ride with your stars and the role players step up.”
